Weinman Children’s Advocacy Centre Overview
Welcome to the Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis (CASGSL). We are affiliated with the Psychology Department in University of Missouri at St. Louis (UMSL) and are accredited by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA). We work with children from ages 3 through 17 who have experienced any kind of trauma and provide an array of services including forensic interview, medical examinations, and counseling. Our mission is to reduce the effects of trauma experienced by children and adolescents in the Greater St. Louis community.
CASGSL also has a strong training and research component. Our training includes graduate-level practicum training as well as increasing awareness in the community about trauma-related problems in children and adolescents through community outreach services.
CASGSL’s multidisciplinary staff has extensive professional training and clinical experience in the investigation, assessment and treatment of all types of trauma including:

- Traumatic Bereavement
