Our Locations
Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis has three locations throughout the St. Louis area.
Kathy J Weinman
Our main location, built in July 1997, is housed on the south campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis and is known at the Kath J. Weinman Child Advocacy Center. This location provides counseling services, (Link to MoACTS) space for our graduate and undergraduate students, (Link to CAST) and our business operations. This bright, modern, child-friendly facility has approximately 30,000 square feet. The Weinman building holds a large waiting room, therapists’ offices, an art therapy room and observation room, two group/family rooms and a conference room. Children’s Advocacy Services shares the building with the UM-St. Louis Center for Trauma Recovery. There is also an auditorium in the lower level of the building capable of seating 100 that is available for rental. The facility is fully accessible to people with disabilities.

West Pine
Our Central West End location in St. Louis City is located in a child-friendly, 3-story home, known as the “West Pine Office.” This location provides forensic interviews, victim advocacy and counseling services. The West Pine Office is a 3-story brick home built in 1894. The property was originally purchased in 1991 to provide a home for the first Child Advocacy Center in St. Louis. Renovations began and the first client was served in 1995. The home still proudly maintains the original staircase, front door and other architectural details that are enjoyed by the families and Multidisciplinary Team members at the Center. The first floor houses the waiting area, an interview room, observation room, a conference room and offices for forensic interviewers, victim advocates and therapists. The second floor provides spaces for forensic staff offices, two interview rooms and an observation room. The third floor has three therapy offices and a small waiting area/ group therapy room. Group room space and work space for clinical staff, students and Multidisciplinary team members can be found in the basement.

Kirkwood
Our newest location is located in Kirkwood near Highway I-44 and S. Lindbergh; the two houses were donated by Kathy J Weinman. The two houses which make up the property are located on Monroe Avenue in Kirkwood a suburb of south/central St. Louis. This location will provide counseling, forensic interviews, victim advocacy and a “mock-house” to teach UMSL Child Advocacy Studies students. CASGSL anticipates using one house for forensic operations and one house for clinical operations. Adding the Kirkwood properties will make CASGSL services more accessible for families and Multidisciplinary Team members from south and west St. Louis county. The building will include an interview suite, offices for Forensic interviewers, victim advocates and therapists, an art therapy room, play therapy room and group/family therapy rooms.
